I started training ever since I was put into Gymnastics at 2 years old. After competing for many years, my interest in all things fitness and adventure started to grow. Through surfing, skateboarding, calisthenics, weight lifting, triathlons, climbing, backpacking, muay thai, jiu jitsu, and running - the push never stopped.
Contrary to my athletic output, my input for more than half of my life contained an extremely detrimental lifestyle of partying and ultimate escapism until I found my pivotal moment in April of 2018. Through the care of my family and select friends, my life changed for the better. Though I might not be living the way I used to, I still suffer daily from a variety of anxiety, fears, and ADHD.
However, through counseling, family, nutrition, mental coaches, pastors, friends, role models, mentors, and training - I found tools and resources to help elevate me into a constant pursuit of greatness. My output is not intended to be a quick fix to my health, mentality, or fitness, but instead a collection of tools crafted over time, to further discover a part of my mind that I did not know I could have found. Utilizing this in fitness and health with the goal to inspire others to do the same.
After all of the medals in gymnastics, the Ironman 70.3 triathlon, climbing the tallest peaks in the continental US, fighting muay thai champions, and surfing big waves - nothing has left me more satisfied then when I was able to look in my own eyes in the mirror and recognize that I am on this relentless pursuit and that no diagnosis, injury, mental block, fear, anxiety, or depression, will keep me from achieving my goal, but instead motivate me more.
That is why I surround myself with people who are in search of their physical and mental limits. We hold one another to a higher standard and an elevated way of life.
